My Purpose to Create

I love making quilts. There is something intoxicating about planning the design of a project; imagining through the steps to achieve the results you have in mind and enjoying the journey to get to completion.

Working with fabric delights the eyes and tickles your soul as you caress it. One of the best parts is the continuation of the fabric designer's inspiration. Their printed form of expression starts the spark of a project. You lock eyes with its colors and motifs and you just know - I can make something with this.

Making things by hand brings me joy.
